- GIS applications for environment, cultural heritage, and socio-economic analysis.

- Population geography: historical dynamics, migrations, and settlement of immigrants in Italy.

- Historical cartography, geohistorical reconstructions, and landscape studies.

- International cooperation projects (sustainable tourism, agriculture, cultural heritage).

- Thematic atlases (water resources, foreign entrepreneurship, wetlands).

- Innovative teaching methods in geography.
